Rohit Lakhotia has more than 15 years’ experience leading large-scale transformation programs across payments, digital operations, supply chain, and now, artificial intelligence. As General Manager (Principal) for Customer & Channel AI, he spearheads initiatives such as AskTelstra, the company’s generative AI knowledge assistant that has already answered over one million frontline questions and significantly improved customer experience.



Previously, Rohit served as General Manager of Billing, Payments & Digital Operations for Telstra, where he drove the consolidation of legacy platforms and the introduction of real-time, customer-focused solutions. Known for his entrepreneurial approach and technical expertise, Rohit has a track record of guiding cross-functional teams through complex change while fostering innovation and data-driven decision-making.



Rohit holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from CQ University and is also committed to social impact, contributing to technology solutions for organisations including The Salvation Army and the Thomas Kelly Foundation.
