PayPal Developer Day is an immersive learning and hands-on experience with the PayPal engineering and product teams. You’ll be the among the first to explore Fastlane by PayPal, get technical insights, and have the opportunity to problem-solve any challenges you may have integrating Fastlane by PayPal.
Fastlane by PayPal is an accelerated checkout offering that allows you to integrate fast and secure guest checkout to your e-commerce site. Customers will experience:
- A faster checkout and have both their shipping and payment info automatically filled.
- Unrecognized customers will have a simple option to save their information for use across the network.
- Faster and secure future checkouts with any merchant participating in the Fastlane network.
PayPal Developer Day is designed for any type of developer looking to integrate Fastlane, whether you’re offering the latest PayPal payment options or getting started with PayPal payments.

Please check the box during registration that indicates your interest in meeting with a PayPal engineer. Once our meeting scheduling app is live, we will notify you via email with instructions on how to book time onsite. If you did not check the box during registration and would like to register your interest in meeting with an engineer, please reach out to vipevents@paypal.com.
There is no cost to attend for approved attendees, however you will need to cover any travel, lodging and/or offsite expenses.

Onsite Logistics
- Scan the QR code that is on the back of your name badge.
- When prompted download the “Attendee Mobile” app from either Apple or Google depending on your device.
- Open the App and search PayPal DevDay.
- When prompted, enter the password shown on the back of your badge.
The PayPal Developer Day registration desk will be in Town Hall, Building 12 on the PayPal campus.
To check in at Town Hall, Building 12 on the PayPal campus, you will need a government-issued ID that matches the name on your registration. After you have received your security tag, proceed to the PayPal Developer Day registration desk to pick up your event badge and other event materials.
You are welcome to dress however you feel most comfortable. The events will take place both inside and outside, so we recommend that you dress in layers to allow for the change in temperature.
Food and beverages will be provided throughout the day, including a continental breakfast, lunch, and a evening reception with food stations.

A discounted rate is available first come, first serve at the Hyatt Place San Jose Airport hotel. Secure your room by August 8th to guarantee the special rate. The Hyatt Place San Jose Airport hotel is within walking distance of the PayPal campus.
